the baby boy has very bright eyes, a tuft of hair, and interesting ears. He is the king and Queen son. Was kidnapped by Mrs. Truttle. Close to the same age as Odge Gribble.
Landon Truttle is very rich. Has a hunting lodge in Scottland and a beach house in South France. Married to Larina Trottle.
Larina Trottle has no child of her own, so she desides to steal the baby boy. The beach house in south France has a flat roof so that she can tan on it with nothng on witch isn't a preaty sight. She renames the baby boy to Raymond Truttle.
the king and Queen are not magical, they are regular humans. They do not belive in having slaves, they belive every body should do they'r own share of stuff.
the rescuers were chosen becuase cornelius is very wize, Gurkintrude is very good, and the giant Hans is very strong.
All of the Gribbles are ugly in some way. Odges oldest sister has a finger nale so long you could dig a garden with it. The second oldest has black hairs like pisno wires coming out of her ears, the third has stripey feet - and so on down to the sixth who has blue teeth and a wart the size of a saucer an her chin. Then came Odge.
Odge was a disappointment to her parents. She was not like her sisters, her fingernails were short; not one whisker grew out of her ears; her feet were absolutely ordinary. Her mom did not decid to call her new daughter Nocticula or Valpurgina and settled for Odge(wich rimed with splodge) and hoped that she would improve as she grew older. And up to a point, Odge did get a little more hag-like. She had unecual eyes: the left one was green and the right one was brown, and she had one blue tooth-but it was a molar and right at the back. She wanted to be one of the rescuers, but the person that answerd the letters thought she was to young. She started traning to be a rescuer once the word was out.
the baby sitters were sisters. They were identical and triplets. It was a good thing they where identical too, so the prince would not get them mixed up. They took him to London so they could see they're home again. Larina stole the prince from his blanket and switched him with a china doll and when in the gump relized that they didn't have the prince. They blamed every thing on them selves because the Queen was so up set.
